Greetings IMA Members and Visitors,
My name is Diane Swanson. I am honored to be your incoming President, and I want to acknowledge the leadership provided by Ashley Loflin and last years' board. I am excited to welcome the new class of Board Members, both new and returning. I am new to IMA, but I have been involved in accounting and finance for over 35 years and an alumni member of Beta Alpha Psi. I am proud to have this opportunity to serve our chapter and help make this professional organization
I look forward to leading our chapter which covers Portland, Oregon, and the surrounding areas. Our goal as a chapter is to involve all members for not only Continuing Professional Education in business and finance but also professional networking and career development. We have a great line up of events and hope to involve each of you. As a chapter we strive to be that consistent and relevant place to receive your CPE credits as well as career and personal development. Our chapter also supports accounting and finance students giving them options to the wide career opportunities that await them.
