"Honest People Steal" presented by Kelly Paxton, CFE, Private Investigator, Pink Collar Crime

You hire good people and you pay them good wages. Why would they steal? Human behavior is incredibly complex and we can never know all the motivations behind bad behavior. Most business owners don’t have a degree in psychology, sociology, or criminology. This presentation will have you looking at risk differently and change your ideas of how honest people behave and why they might steal from you.

  • Attend Honest People Steal and learn that:
  • Prevention is cheaper and much more important than recovering after the fact.
  • Optimism bias affects most successful business owners.
  • Businesses of all sizes and types are victims—you are not alone.
  • Money can be replaced but trust is much more difficult to regain.
