The evening with start off with an ETHICS CPE presentation from Eric Jenkins connecting the importance of a strong control environment to the important role it can play in intelligence collection and stopping bad guys. We'll then top off the evening with Trey Winthrop sharing his career journey and the story of how Bob's Red Mill was transformed into an employee-owned company.

Eric Jenkins MBA/CAMS/CISA/CRISC  will be presenting an interdisciplinary approach to auditing financial crime prevention programs. From basic anti-money laundering typologies to transaction detection and monitoring, he’ll be discussing how Fraud and Information Security relate in Banking. He’ll describe experiences and connect the importance of a strong control environment to the important role it can play in intelligence collection and stopping bad guys.

Eric Jenkins MBA/CAMS/CISA/CRISC is an AVP in Umpqua Bank’s internal audit department. He has a background in Banking risk management and internal audit.

Trey will tell the story of Bob’s Red Mill transforming into an employee-owned company and his career journey – management accounting in practice.

As the Chief Financial Officer at Bob’s Red Mill Natural Foods, Inc., Trey has been with the employee-owned company for over thirteen years.  He has strong leadership skills with emphasis in the consumer packaged goods and manufacturing industries. He has carefully managed long-term growth while keeping the value of people and relationships his number one priority.

Trey earned his B.A. from Oregon State University and his MBA from the University of Phoenix.
