Description: Using the “Choose Your Own Adventure” book series as a framework, this presentation will show business owners and advisors how to develop proactive strategies that can minimize exposure to cybersecurity risks.

Chris Keefer: Chris Keefer is the principal of KEEFER Strategy, a Preventive Law practice based in Portland, Oregon. Over his 20+ years as an attorney, Chris has helped businesses and manufacturers around the world implement preventive legal strategies, including proactively negotiating and developing contracts, managing insurance and litigation programs, compliance and governance strategies, and conducting due diligence in business and real estate acquisitions. Chris presents and writes nationally on Preventive Law topics and has developed and taught upper-level classes for multiple Top-25 law schools.
Lyndsay Kooistra: Lyndsay Kooistra, CIC is a shareholder and Vice President at LaPorte Insurance in Portland, Oregon. She has been in the Insurance industry for over 18 years and develops a customized insurance program that addresses risks for business clients. She works in a wide variety of different industries and has become a thought leader in Cyber Liability. Lyndsay is on the Education Committee of the Certified Insurance Counselor for the State of Oregon, Past Chair of Young Agents of Oregon, Vice President of the Board for Big I Oregon and on the National Board for CISR.
Dave Miller: Dave Miller is the Director of Business Development for Future Networking (FNI), a full resource cybersecurity company founded in 1998 in Tigard, Oregon. With over 30 years of experience in international trade, manufacturing (including defense) and technology, Dave has witnessed on multiple occasions the devastation ransomware and data breaches can have on an organization. Dave’s career in cybersecurity is propelled by the goal to minimize cyberthreats to businesses, so they may prosper and maintain a competitive advantage.
